Glen Ellyn, Ill, Sept. 24, 2021 - The Elgin Community College women's soccer team suffered a 6-2 loss to the College of DuPage on Friday.

The Spartans dip to 3-4-1 as the Chaparrals move to 2-5.

COD found itself with a 4-0 lead entering the half after goals in the 13th and 23rd minuutes and two penalty kicks.

Kaley Kowal and Natalie McGinnis each scored early in the second, but were unable to hang onto the momentum as the Chaps found an additional two to hand the Spartans a 6-2 loss.

Next up is the fourth Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) match-up of the season, with a game at Lake County on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
