Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team was edged 50-47 by Waubonsee on Tuesday night.

The Spartans move to 6-20 overall and 1-10 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Chiefs improve to 6-18 and 2-8.

Team leaders included Hannah Masud in points (16) followed by Sarah Duque with 13. Nicole Beach grabbed 10 rebounds and Sarah Duque tallied four steals.

ECC is back on the road to face No. 8 Morton on Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
