Grayslake, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team suffered a 73-43 road loss to Lake County on Thursday night.

The Spartans move to 6-16 overall and 1-6 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Lancers improve to 16-6 and 5-3.

Ceili Ramirez scored a team-high 13 points as Mikaylah Patronas and Zoey Wilson scored nine apiece. Other team leaders include Nicole Beach in rebounds (10) and Wilson and Beach in steals (three).

ECC is back at home to take on Oakton on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
