Palos Hills, Ill. - The Elgin Community College softball team suffered two losses to Moraine Valley on Tuesday afternoon.

The Spartans move to 0-12 overall and 0-4 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Game One: ECC 0, MVCC 13

Madelaine Gilpin tallied the sole hit of the game while she and Zoe Kaler each stole one base.

Game Two: ECC 7, MVCC 23

Sophia Espolt led the team in game two with four hits, three RBI and one run.

The team was down 23-0 entering the bottom of the fifth, but rallied to bring in seven runs.

ECC is back on the road to face Morton on Tuesday. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
