Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's soccer team remains ranked 20th nationally after winning two games last week.
The Spartans improve to 7-1-1 overall and 1-1 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.
ECC defeated conference opponent McHenry 5-1 on Tuesday. Goal scoreres included Christian Escobedo, Ariel Gomez, Oscar Jimenez, Adrian Diaz and Diogo Magana.
Elgin recorded its third shutout of the season with a 4-0 victory over Milwaukee Area Technical College on Saturday. Diaz scored two goals with Magana and Tyler Buthman registering one apiece.
The Spartans host Waubonsee on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
