Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's soccer team is ranked 20th in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Weekly Rankings.

The Spartans move to 5-1-1 in their overall season after three very competitive games.

ECC defeated four-year Governors State University 5-1 on Monday.

On Thursday, the men fell 3-2 in a tightly contested match against Morton, who was also receiving votes in national rankings last week.

Elgin faced No. 20 Rock Valley on Saturday and picked up a huge 3-1 victory.

The Spartans are on the road to face McHenry on Tuesday and Milwaukee Area Technical College on Saturday.
