Chicago, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's soccer team posted a 4-1 victory over Daley on Tuesday afternoon.

The Spartans improve to 1-3 in their overall season.

Miguel Navarro led the team with two goals and an additional shot on goal, as Luis Rubio, Ruben Guadalajara and Victor Plet.

Plet scored the first goal in the eighth minute with Navarro, assisted by John Kraft, scored the second goal just two minutes later.

Daley countered with a goal in the 18th minute to tighten up the game to 2-1.

Rubio found the back of the net in the 70th minute with an assist from Joel Gutierrez, resulting in the 4-1 final score.

ECC hosts McHenry on Thursday at 4 p.m.
