Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's soccer team posted a 7-0 victory over Calumet College of St. Joseph on Tuesday in an exhibition game.

Leading the way with a hat trick and one assist was Joel Gutierrez, followed by Miguel Navarro with one goal and an assist.

Ruben Guadalajara found the back of the net with an assist from Tyler Buthman just four minutes into the contest. Gutierrez scored his first goal with an assist from Luis Rubio in the seventh minute.

Erick Ortiz netted a goal in the 21st with an assist from Luis Rubio with Gutierrez scoring back-to-back in the 28th and 33rd minutes. He was assisted by Miguel Navarro and John Kraft.

Navarro earned the sixth point for Elgin in the 37th with Jesus Alonso on the assist. Ariel Sanchez scored the final goal of the game with an assist from Oscar Jimenez one minute before halftime.

The game concluded with a 7-0 win after 60 minutes of play.

ECC is back on the road to face No. 8 Morton on Thursday at 4 p.m.
