McHenry and Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team clinched two wins this week.

The Spartans finish the regular season with a 10-19 overall record and 6-8 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Feb. 18: ECC 99, McHenry 95

Five scored double-digits including Davee Flowers (23), Xavior Gonzalez (20), Josiah Mayes (15), Tristan Walton (14) and Immanuel Brown (12).

Flowers recorded eight assists and grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds. Gonzalez led the team with five steals.

Feb. 20: Oakton 82, ECC 85

Team leaders included Flowers in points (31), rebounds (nine) and steals (three) and Gonzalez in assists (three).

The Spartans will face No. 13 Bryant & Stratton on Thursday for the Region 4 Quarterfinals. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
