Ft. Myers, Fla. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team suffered two losses at the Florida Southwestern Classic over the weekend.
The Spartans move to 1-10 in their overall season.
Game One: Miami Dade 103, Elgin 66
Four scored double digits including Gabe Wright (18), Meek Ater (10), Derryl Gaddi (10) and Gavin Khounnoraj (10). Other team leaders included Isaiah Smith in rebounds (eight), Ian Smith in assists (four) and Wright in steals (four).
Game Two: Florida Southwestern 105, Elgin 47
Next up for the Spartans is the Highland Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
