Elgin, Ill., Feb. 12, 2022 - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team clinched its second win in a row with a 64-57 victory over Prairie State on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans improve to 11-12 overall and 5-6 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Pioneers move to 14-11 and 8-3.

Jordan Wilkins led the team with 26 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Luke Difrancesca scored nine points with Aaron Hawthorne and Dorien Little scoring eight apiece.

Elgin led the entirety of the game, including an eight-point scoring streak in the first to secure an early 16-8 lead. Prairie State chipped away at the deficit to trail 25-31 entering halftime.

PSC came within one point of ECC twice in the second half, but Elgin continued to hold them off from tying it up.

The men continued to hold out for the 64-57 win.

The Spartans host the College of Lake County on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
