Elgin, Ill., Feb. 1, 2022 - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team was edged 80-69 by Waubonsee on Tuesday night.

The Spartans dip to 9-11 overall and 3-5 in conference play as the Chiefs improve to 13-5 and 4-3.

Jordan Wilkins posted a season-high 33 points to lead the team. He also collected six rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Selle Dime grabbed the team-best 12 rebounds with Dorien Little scoring 10 and Luke DiFrancesca tallying nine points.

Waubonsee held Elgin scoreless through nine points at the start of the contest, and continued to lead for the remainder of the game.

The Spartans travel to face Moraine Valley on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
