Elgin, Ill., Nov. 8, 2021 - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team clinched a 76-73 win over the Judson University junior varsity team on Monday night.

The Spartans improve to 2-1 as the Eagles dip to 2-3.

Jordan Wilkins once again led the team in points (20) and steals (two) with Damir Glamoc and Justin Henderson recording double-doubles.

The game remained tied for much of the second half, but the Spartans did manage to hold the Panthers scoreless for six points to take a 21-17 edge.

Judson countered with an 11 point swing to take the 39-32 lead entering the second half.

The Spartans tightened the deficit over the first 10 minutes of the half until the game was tied up at 55 points apiece.

Elgin managed to hang on to the advantage for the first home win of the season.

Next up for the men is a road game at No. 3 South Suburban College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
