Elgin Community College baseball student-athletes Jack Kerno and Josh Caccia were selected to the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Baseball All-America Team.
Kerno earned Second Team honors as an infielder. He batted .393 with a .647 slugging and .500 on-base percentage. He also held a .994 fielding percentage with 343 total chances, 317 putouts and 24 assists. Nationally, Kerno ranked 21st in total chances and 23rd in putouts. Other achievements this season included First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference.
Caccia was selected to the Honorable Mention team as a pitcher. He had a standout freshman season with a 10-0 record and ranked first in ERA (1.27) and tenth in wins in all of Division II. Caccia was also selected as First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference and earned the title of Conference Pitcher of the Year.
