Elgin, Ill. - The No. 23 Elgin Community College baseball team swept Carl Sandburg on Tuesday afternoon.

The Spartans improve to 34-11 in their overall season.

Game One: CSC 11, ECC 17

Nick Weaver went 4-for-4 with four runs and one RBI. Aiden Kashuba collected five RBI with his two hits and Chris Lara brought in four RBI.

Jaden Alberson made the start and struck out seven batters in 4.2 innings. Lucas Aguirre earned the win after only allowing one hit in one inning.

Game Two: CSC 1, ECC 11

Calvin Bredlau earned his second win of the season after four innings pitched with three strikeouts. Aidan Stratton came in for relief and allowed two hits and no runs in two innings.

The Spartans host Highland for a single game on Friday at 3 p.m.
