Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College baseball team shutout Judson JV 30-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

The 30 runs scored tied the scoring record set in 2006.

Hitting leaders included Chris Lara in hits (three) and singles (three), Jim Bluemling, Jack Kerno and Andrew Flynn in RBI and Lara, Eli Johnson and Nick Weaver in runs (three).

Weaver, Peter Mitchell, Josh Collins and Patrick Nelson hit doubles.

Noah Schlup earned his second win of the season after making the start on the mound. Edgar Barba, Casey Farrell and Sean Riordan did not allow any hits and recorded two strikeouts in their appearances.

Next up for the Spartans is a doubleheader at College of DuPage on March 16.
