Aguado enters her fourth year at the helm of the women's basketball program in the 2024-25 season.
She graduated from Elgin High School in 2001, after playing on the Elgin High School basketball team for four years as a point guard. Aguado had a successful basketball career at Elgin Community College for two years, finishing 21-10 and winning the Skyway Conference Title in 2002-03.
She went on to play at NCAA DIII Rockford University where the team became conference champs in her first year. After earning a degree in communications from Northern Illinois University, Aguado returned to her hometown to start a career and began coaching.
