Charlotte, NC – Ten Elgin Community College student-athletes were named to the 2023-24 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Academic Teams, as announced by the association on Thursday.
Student-athletes are eligible to earn the academic honors by achieving an overall grade point average of 3.60 or higher with 24 or more credit hours. First Team honorees had a 4.0 GPA, Second Team maintained a 3.80-3.99 and Third Team honorees logged a 3.60-3.79 grade point average.
Second Team recipients include tennis players Gabrielle Czeremuga and Amelia Stoner and golfer Jake Russell.
Zoie Adamson (softball), Jadyn Booz-Bruce (volleyball), Quinn Butera (baseball), John Eugenio (tennis), Gavin Khounnoraj (basketball), Diogo Magana (soccer) and Isaiah Smith (basketball) made up the Third Team honorees.
Booz-Bruce also earned the honor in the 2022-23 academic year.
