Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College volleyball team lost in three sets to Waubonsee on Wednesday night.

The Spartans move to 0-9 overall and 0-1 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Chiefs improve to 3-4 and 1-0.

Set scores were 25-5, 25-11 and 25-15.

Team leaders included Courtney Consoer in blocks (one), Lilithe Buttron and Consoer in kills (three), Rachel Mikosz in assists (nine) and Jadyn Booz-Bruce, Dahja Gaines and Mikosz in digs with three each.

ECC travels to Wisconsin on Friday to face Milwaukee Area Tech at 10 a.m. and Bay College at noon.
