Palos Hills, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team fell 87-63 to Moraine Valley on Thursday night.

The Spartans move to 8-16 overall and 2-6 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Cyclones improve to 11-11 and 5-4.

Moraine Valley led Elgin 27-7 after the first quarter and 43-18 entering halftime. Despite a huge fourth quarter, scoring a season-high 29 points, ECC was unable to fight back as they fell by 24 points.

The Spartans host Prairie State on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
