Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team suffered a 93-48 loss to No. 1 Morton on Tuesday night.

The Spartans move to 8-15 overall and 2-5 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) as the Panthers improve to 21-0 and 7-0.

ECC shot 51.2 percent from the floor, their highest percentage of the season.

Team leaders included Kelechi Uchem in points (23) and rebounds (nine) and Takara Campbell in assists (five) and steals (three).

The Spartans travel to Palos Hills to take on Moraine Valley on Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
