Sugar Grove, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team fell 92-61 to Waubonsee on Thursday night.

The Spartans move to 8-14 overall and 2-4 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Chiefs improve to 7-12 and 3-3.

Elgin was scoreless through the first five minutes of the contest, but Waubonsee maintained the lead and continued to separate themselves to result in the 92-61 loss.

ECC hosts No. 1 Morton on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
