Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team suffered an 81-52 loss to McHenry on Tuesday night.

The Spartans move to 8-13 overall and 2-3 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Scots improve to 10-7 and 3-2.

Nevaeh Howard led the team with a season-best 28 points and five steals. Kelechi Uchem grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

ECC travels to Sugar Grove to take on Waubonsee on Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
