Des Plaines, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team fell 75-55 to Oakton on Thursday night.

The Spartans move to 8-11 overall and 2-2 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Owls improve to 17-2 and 3-1.

Sarah Duque recorded a season-best 21 points and Kelechi Uchem registered her ninth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Takara Campbell led the team in assists (four), as Uchem, Ari Franco and Shaleea Hayes tallied two steals.

The Spartans travel to Moline to face Black Hawk on Saturday at 1 p.m.
