Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team clinched a 55-49 victory over College of Lake County on Tuesday night.

The Spartans improve to 8-10 overall and 2-1 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Lancers move to 1-15 and 1-3.

Kelechi Uchem and Sarah Duque score in the double digits with 16 and 12 points, respectively. Other team leaders include Duque in steals (five), Duque and Nevaeh Howard in assists (three) and Uchem in rebounds (16).

ECC travels to Des Plaines on to face Oakton on Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
