Chicago Heights, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team clinched its first Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) victory of the season with a 76-66 win over Prairie State on Thursday night.

The Spartans improve to 7-10 overall and 1-1 in conference play as the Pioneers move to 6-11 and 1-1.

ECC hosts College of Lake County on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
