Oglesby, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team won 66-54 over Illinois Valley on Tuesday night.

The Spartans improve to 5-7 in its overall season.

Four individuals scored in the double digits including Nevaeh Howard (15), Kelechi Uchem (13), Tatianna Brown (13) and Takara Campbell (10). Uchem registered a double-double as she tacked on 17 rebounds. She also recorded a season-best four steals.

Ari Franco tallied a career-high eight assists with Howard registering nine.

The Spartans host Carl Sandburg on Saturday at 1 p.m.
