Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team clinched a 62-61 win over Wilbur Wright on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans improve to 1-3 as the Rams move to 0-4.

Takara Campbell scored a team-high 13 points with Ari Franco and Ari Marchan scoring 11 apiece. Kelechi Uchem grabbed a team and season-best 17 rebounds. Franco also registered four assists and four steals.

ECC is on the road to face College of DuPage (0-3) on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
