Lemont, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's golf team finished second at the weekly conference invitational on Wednesday afternoon.

Jake Russell and Kyle Schutt led the team with 82s as Jack Aird was just behind them with an 83. Trevor Book wrapped up the team with a 93.

The Spartans travel to Northbrook on Wednesday as it is Oakton's turn to host.
