Northbrook, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's golf team competed in Oakton's Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) weekly competition on Wednesday afternoon.

Brandon Jakl tied for seventh with an 82 out of the field of 24 golfers. He was tied for fifth after the first nine holes with a 39.

Trevor Book registered a season-best 84 to tie for an 11th place.

The Spartans travel to Bristol for Waubonsee's ISCC competition on Wednesday.
