Cicero, Ill., Sept. 29, 2021 - The Elgin Community College men's golf team recorded its fourth fourth place finish at Morton College's turn of hosting Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) competition on Wednesday.

The team combined for a 362, a new season-best by two strokes.

Brandon Jakl led the team for the first time this season, improving his season-best by six strokes to 82.

Payton Yee shot an 87 with Brenden Gilbert just behind at 88. Jack Charles tightened up his season best to 105.

The Spartans are slated to compete at the Region IV Preview Classic on Friday at noon.
