Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team beat Oakton 78-70 on Tuesday night.

The Spartans improve to 5-18 overall and 3-5 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Owls move to 1-22 and 0-8.

Gabe Wright recorded his third double-double of the season with 13 points and 12 rebounds. He also recorded a season-high three blocks.

Derryl Gaddi scored 24 points as Meek Ater (15) and Isaiah Smith (13) also registered double-digits.

ECC travels to face McHenry on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
