Crystal Lake, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team picked up a 76-72 victory over McHenry on Friday night.

The Spartans improve to 15-13 overall and 7-5 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

DaRon Hall led the team with 26 points as Jadon Melvin and Dorien Little scored 21 and 16 points, respectfully.

Melvin tallied a team-high seven rebounds and four assists with Carson Seyller registering two steals.

ECC entered halftime with a 31-29 advantage and a huge 45 point second half lifted the team to the 76-72 win.

The Spartans host Waubonsee on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
