Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team clinched an 83-67 victory over Prairie State on Tueday night.

The Spartans improve to 13-12 overall and 5-4 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) as the Pioneers dip to 15-8 and 7-2.

ECC shot 50.0 percent from the floor and 45.2 percent from the three-point line throughout the contest.

Four scored double-digits including DaRon Hall (26), Dorien Little (12), John Gray III (11) and Bryce Reynolds (10). Other team leaders included Hall in rebounds (nine), Gray and Hall in assists (five) and Hall in steals (three).

Elgin maintained the lead from the six-minute mark with a 46-36 advantage at halftime to eventually result in the win.

The Spartans travel to Grayslake to face Lake County on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
