Palos Hills, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team suffered an 86-82 loss to Moraine Valley on Thursday night.

The Spartans move to 12-12 overall and 4-4 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Cyclones improve to 18-4 and 7-1.

DaRon Hall, Dorien Little and Bryce Reynolds tallied a team-high 17 points. Little grabbed nine rebounds as Carson Seyller and John Gray III each recorded four assists.

Elgin entered halftime with a 38-32 advantage. Moraine Valley chipped away at the deficit and tied the game up with six minutes remaining. The game would remain close for the rest of the contest, but ECC was unable to take back the lead for the four-point loss.

The Spartans host Prairie State on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
