Des Plaines, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team clinched a 76-61 victory over Oakton on Thursday night.

The Spartans improve to 10-10 overall and 2-2 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Owls move to 6-13 and 0-4.

Jadon Melvin recorded a team-high 25 points and 10 rebounds. John Gray III and Carson Seyller each tallied five assists.

ECC hosts McHenry on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
