Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball picked up a 63-55 victory over College of Lake County on Tuesday night.

The Spartans improve to 9-10 overall and 1-2 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Lancers move to 10-7 and 2-1.

John Gray III and Bryce Reynolds recorded a season-best 19 points in the contest. Jadon Melvin registered his fifth double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Melvin, Keaton Gregory and Carson Seyller tallied two blocks apiece.

ECC travels to Des Plaines to face Oakton on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
