Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team secured an 87-45 victory over Aurora JV on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans move to 2-2 in their overall season.

ECC shot 48.6 percent from the field and forced 18 turnovers for 25 points.

Team leaders included DaRon Hall in points (13) and rebounds (nine) and Cam Ranson in assists (five). Hall and Trenton Shelton each recorded two steals and Dorien Little and Logan Gramly registered one block apiece.

Little and Shelton both scored double digits with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

The Spartans travel to Glen Ellyn to face the College of DuPage (1-3) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
