Joliet, Ill. - The Elgin Community College baseball team had its winning streak snapped with a 10-0 loss to Joliet Junior College on Thursday.
The Spartans dip to 19-13 as the Wolves improve to 30-18.
Derek Angelo led the team with two hits as Alijah Acevedo, Eli Johnson and Mauricio Grosso tallied one apiece.
ECC held Joliet scoreless through three innings before the Wolves found its rhythm and scored three runs in the fourth, four in the sixth, one in the seventh and two in the eighth to end the game early.
The Spartans travel to Chicago to face Olive-Harvey for a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 2 p.m.
